Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA's) National Helpline
SAMHSA’s National Helpline, 1-800-662-HELP (4357) (also known as the Treatment Referral Routing Service), or TTY: 1-800-487-4889 is a confidential, free, 24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year, information service, in English and Spanish, for individuals and family members facing mental and/or substance use disorders. This service provides referrals to local treatment facilities, support groups, and community-based organizations.
Minnesota Med Cab
MTM coordinates non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) for fee for service Medical Assistance recipients in the Metro Twin City area through a contract with the Metro County Consortium (MCC). MTM arranges transportation for recipients to help them get to their medical appointments at clinics and urgent care facilities in lieu of using costly emergency room services. This metro program is supported by the ten counties served in partnership with MTM. Our goal is to provide appropriate, cost effective, and safe transportation to recipients at all times.
Your rides can be booked online through MTM Link. You may also call us at 866-467-1724 with at least three business days’ notice. We also request that you provide at least five days’ notice when renewing your bus pass. MTM schedules and provides routine transportation Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. We also provide after-hours services for hospital discharges and life-sustaining appointments.
